War Eagle

Sometimes I forget just how lucky I am to live so close to Auburn Football. I had two of my friends come down from Chicago for the K-State game Saturday. One of the guys has been to games all over the country, Nebraska, Tallahassee and a bunch of pro stadiums and he was clearly amazed by the atmosphere and magnitude of the game.

One of my favorite things that they said was that it was the first ever football game they had been to that they would feel comfortable bringing their kids too. Neither of the guys are really connected to a church so it was cool to introduce them to so many cool people from Saint James that we ran into at the game and change their perspective of what Christians look and act like. They were amazed that all these normal and cool people go to Saint James.

Auburn won in the most impressive fashion. It's clear that Al Borges just keeps teams close to the mid fourth quarter without showing more then two plays. He then calls the perfect play at the perfect time and we win by a touchdown or so. It happens every week and it blows my mind that people still think it is an accident!
